JOB DETAILS:
The Judiciary is an arm of the Government established under Part Vill of the Constitution (Amended) NO. 2 of 2016. Its mission is "To administer justice to all In an Independent, impartial, competent and timely manner". In order to Improve service delivery, the Judiciary is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacancies:

1. Personal Secretaries (JSS 07) x 20 (ANNUAL BASIC SALARY OF K66,815.69) to be based in Lusaka

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be required to report to the Senior Personal Secretary and will be responsible for the following:
• Taking accurately dictation in order to facilitate transcribing into maliable correspondence and documents:
• Undertaking timely and accurately typing of correspondence and documents in order to ensure production of high-quality standard documents:
• Undertaking accurately the recording of proceedings during meetings in order to facilitate preparation of minutes and report:
• Undertaking daily receiving of correspondence and documents from both internal and external sources in order to ensure appropriate attention and action:
• Undertaking timely and accurately the Recording of appointments and assignments in order to ensure attention and action
• Undertaking timely and politely the receiving and attending to visitors in order to enhance the image of the office:
• Undertaking effectively the acquisition and serving of beverages and refreshments to officers and visitors in order to extend hospitality:
• Undertaking effectively desk research and colates data on topical issues in order to facilitate decision making
• Undertaking timely the preparation of office budgets in order to facilitate acquisition of monetary resources and prudent expenditure: Undertaking timely the receiving and placement of telephone calls timely in order to facilitate communication and
• Undertaking timely arrangement of travel logistics in order to facilitate
movement.

Maximum Vocational/Professional Qualifications
• Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) credits or better including English
• Advanced Certificate in Secretarial Studies Shorthand/typing speed of 100/65wpm
• Applicant must be below the age of 45 years.
• 2 years’ pre-job experience

• Confidentiality Interpersonal Skills Computer literate Honesty Analytical
