JOB DETAILS:

A CCTV Installer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Closed Circuit Television systems used for security, surveillance, and monitoring purposes..

Key responsibilities

• Installing cameras, cables, DVRs/NVRs, monitors, and other equipment necessary for CCTV systems.
• Configuring systems for optimal performance, testing for functionality, and ensuring integration with other security systems if required.
• Performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing faults in CCTV systems.
• Ensuring CCTV systems are secure, functioning correctly, and meet client requirements for surveillance.
• Provide information on system operation, troubleshooting basic issues, and responding to on-call emergency repairs or installations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate a must.
• Certification in security systems, CCTV installation, Electronics or a related field.
• 2-3 years experience in CCTV installation and maitenance
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, including IP and analog cameras, recording devices, and networking principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with CCTV equipment.
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, or outdoor conditions and prioritize multiple tasks.
