JOB DETAILS:
Education & Certification:
- Trade certificate or diploma in Mechanical Fitting or related mechanical engineering field.
- Apprenticeship or on-the-job training in mechanical fitting.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Proficiency in using fitting tools, precision instruments, and measuring devices.
- Knowledge of pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment.
- Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify faults and carry out repairs.
- Understanding of safety procedures in industrial environments.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity for heavy or precision work.
