Background information about the job or company:

Deliver high-quality teaching, facilitate student learning, conduct scholarly activities, and contribute to curriculum development and assessment within the Nursing & Midwifery program. Specializations may include Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal-Child Health (Midwifery), Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, or Fundamentals of Nursing.

Responsibilities or duties:

• Deliver high-quality teaching
• Facilitate student learning
• Conduct scholarly activities
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment

Qualifications or requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN) or a directly related field (e.g., Midwifery for Midwifery specialization)
• Minimum of 5 years post-registration clinical experience in Nursing/Midwifery
• Strong clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the specialization

Experience needed:

Minimum of 2-3 years demonstrated experience in clinical teaching, precepting, mentoring students, or formal education roles. Formal university lecturing experience is highly advantageous.
