JOB DETAILS:

Background:

St. Mawaggali Trades Training Institute under the Ministry of Technology and Science of the Republic of Zambia is seeking an Automotive Mechanics Lecturer.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching students
• Maintaining a teaching file
• Administering assignments and tests to students
• Maintaining students' performance records
• Maintaining order and discipline among students
• Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Full Grade 12 certificate with at least 5 O levels including mathematics and English
• Age between 35-45 years old
• Diploma or its equivalence in Automotive Mechanics from a reputable institution, a Degree will be an advantage
• Diploma or certificate in teaching methodology
• TEVETA accredited trainer
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Minimum of two years work experience in the respective profession
• Past experience with a Trades Training Institution will be an added advantage

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
