EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
NAPSA Stars Football Club is inviting applications from suitable qualified and experienced individuals for the following job: ACCOUNTANT.
JOB PURPOSE
To manage all finance-related matters for the club. This includes, but not limited to; development of finance policies and procedures as well strategies and guidelines. The person will also be responsible for monitoring and control of all financial systems to ensure effective utilization of club assets. .

Under the supervision of the Technical Director, the following are among the key job responsibilities: –
• Manage the club finances to ensure that the club can meet all its financial obligations
• Work closely with the Technical Director to ensure the timely and accurate provision of financial information to support ongoing business operations and provide decision support.
• Ensure the club’s financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
• Prepare annual budgets, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as forecasts in line with the Club’s business strategy
• Ensure financial discipline in the use of funds through mitigation of illegal financial activities
• Proactively engage in fundraising activities for increased financial sustainability

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Grade 12 with a credit or better (mathematics and English a must)
• Professional qualifications: CA Zambia or ACCA or CIMA or equivalent • Membership with ZICA a MUST.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management position in finance related field
• General knowledge of football administration will be an added advantage
