• Prepare monthly management accounts and comprehensive financial reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct daily bank reconciliations and manage cash flow efficiently.
• Process payroll and ensure all statutory deductions are submitted punctually.
• Prepare and file VAT, PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA, and other relevant tax returns.
• Maintain the general ledger with precise and up-to-date financial records.
• Monitor company budgets and implement cost control measures.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA, either completed or in progress, are advantageous.
• Minimum of three years’ accounting experience, preferably in transport, logistics, or fuel industries.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and Zambian tax legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and deliver within tight deadlines.
