JOB DETAILS:

We are looking for an accountant who has a good knowledge in working with pastel software.

Roles will be

• Financial Record-Keeping
• Recording daily transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts).
• Posting into accounting software (Pastel)
• Accounts Receivable & Payable
• Monitoring customer accounts
• Following up on outstanding payments.
• Verifying supplier invoices and processing payments.
• Inventory Accounting
• Matching purchase orders, goods received, and invoices.
• Valuation of inventory (FIFO, Weighted Average).
• Monitoring expiry dates and adjustments for write-offs.
• Bank Reconciliations
• Reconciling bank statements with internal records.
• Verifying cash and MPESA/Bank deposits match daily sales.
• Payroll Processing
• Preparing salaries, statutory deductions (NAPSA, NHIMA, PAYE).
• Ensuring timely submission to ZRA and other bodies.
• Tax Compliance
• Filing VAT, PAYE, income tax returns.
• Keeping proper documentation for ZRA audits.
• Reporting
• Generating financial reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.
• Budgeting and forecasting.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
