JOB DETAILS:

PURPOSE:  To oversee and direct all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions of the company in order to ensure transparency, accountability and value for money.

RESPONSIBILITIES

i) Undertakes the preparation of financial statements, financial reports and management accounts in order to facilitate decision making.
ii) Initiates the processes for financial planning, financial trends and forecasting in order to facilitate decision making.
iii) Prepares budgets and budget performance reports through accurate analysis of financial data in order to enhance accountability
iv) Ensures availability and control of cash in order to facilitate optimum utilisation of financial resources.
v) Implements effectively internal controls in order to ensure compliance with the Company’s financial guidelines.
vi) Provides draft responses to internal audit queries in order to enhance transparency and accountability.

QUALIFICATIONS

i) Grade 12/Form V School Certificate or its equivalent.
ii) Minimum of ACCA or CIMA or ZICA
iii) Minimum of 3 years working experience as an Accountant
iv) Must be Computer literate

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
