Job Overview

Responsible for the metallurgical accounting function of the plant from material input, in-process accounting and post process accounting. And to generate routine and ad-hoc production statistics and accounting reports. Technical investigations on all plant issues that affect metallurgical accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Providing metallurgical production and technical data in order to analyze accurately, inventories statistics and metallurgical balances at required times.
  • Conduct stock inventory of process materials, reagents and produce the stocks balances for all the consumables.
  • Coordination of both oxide and sulphide copper concentrates logistics and conduct reconciliations on behalf of Roan copper concentrator with transporters and clients.
  • Continuous involvement in ascertaining suitability of sampling processes to ensure accurate metallurgical accounting.
  • Accounting for all reagents being used in the plant.
  • Liaising with Analytical Services departments to ensure the accuracy in sampling, elemental analysis and good assays turnaround time.
  • Supervising subordinate personnel.
  • Carry out any other lawful function from your immediate or other senior officials.

Experience & Qualification

  • Grade 12 Full Certificate
  • University degree in Metallurgy or related field with at least 2 years’ experience.
  • Diploma with 5 years’ experience in similar position.
  • All round on the job development in Process plant operations
