JOB PURPOSE

Provide academic instruction and learner support in one or more assigned subjects. Prepare lessons, assess student performance, and help learners improve their academic achievement and examination results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and deliver lessons in assigned subject(s).
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Conduct individual and group tutoring sessions.
• Assess students through assignments, tests, and revision exercises.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress.
• Prepare students for examinations.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship.
• Maintain attendance and student performance records.
• Communicate with parents or guardians where necessary.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and professional learning environment.
• Perform other teaching-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or higher qualification in Education or the relevant subject area.
• Teaching qualification is an added advantage.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an added advantage.
