Role and Responsibilities for Administrative Assistant Jobs in Lusaka

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily office operations and ensuring smooth administrative workflows. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars efficiently
  • Preparing various communications such as memos, emails, invoices, and reports
  • Writing and editing letters, reports, and instructional documents with clarity
  • Creating and maintaining both electronic and physical filing systems
  • Managing accounts and performing basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Performing accurate data entry and conducting basic data analysis
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Processing expense reports in a timely manner
  • Coordinating travel arrangements as required

Qualifications and Experience Required

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration or a related field
  • At least one year of experience in a similar administrative role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
