Asset Finance Collections Officer (2 Positions)

Key Opportunity Areas

• Successful candidates will support the company’s asset recovery and collections operations while contributing to effective customer engagement, portfolio management, and financial services delivery.

• Client Payment Monitoring: Track and monitor all asset finance accounts, identifying overdue payments, arrears, and accounts approaching default status.
• Collections Communication: Initiate and maintain regular contact with defaulting clients via phone calls, emails, SMS, and formal letters to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve arrears.
• Payment Plan Negotiation: Assess client financial situations and negotiate realistic, mutually agreeable repayment plans, restructuring terms where appropriate.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile client payment histories against outstanding balances, ensuring accurate records of all partial payments, penalties, and interest accrued.
• Early Intervention: Proactively contact clients showing early signs of financial distress, offering payment deferrals or restructuring options to prevent default.
• Reporting & Analytics: Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance, collection success rates, aging analysis, and bad debt provisions for management review.
• Referral for Recovery: Identify accounts that are unresponsive or unwilling to cooperate and formally recommend them for escalation to the Asset Recovery team for physical repossession.
