EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Assistant Accountant (1 Position, Lusaka)

The Secondary School Teachers’ Union of Zambia (SESTUZ), a reputable Trade Union in Zambia invites applications from suitably qualified, self-motivated, and result-oriented individuals to fill the position of Assistant Accountant.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ZICA Technician, Licentiate, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Paid-up ZICA membership.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with high integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial reporting, accounting records, bank reconciliations, payroll support, budgeting, audit preparations, and other accounting duties as assigned.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: associate degree
