JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician with expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, and Chinese (Zhong Tong) buses. The ideal candidate must be able to troubleshoot electrical faults, repair components, and efficiently use diagnostic machines to identify and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, and Zhong Tong buses.
• Inspect, test, and replace electrical wiring, components, and systems.
• Use diagnostic machines and software to identify faults and recommend solutions.
• Repair and maintain alternators, starters, batteries, lighting systems, and other electronic components
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in electrical repairs.
• Work closely with mechanics and technicians to resolve vehicle issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in auto electrical systems and diagnostic tools.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician in commercial buses, especially Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, and Zhong Tong.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for fault finding and repair.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle wiring, electronic control units and modern bus electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and service manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Good communication skills.

Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
1. Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate.
2. Advanced certificate in Auto Electrical or Better.
