JOB DETAILS:
JOB SUMMARY
Duties will include inspecting the vehicle’s mechanical components and its engine, diagnosing problems with vehicles and performing maintenance and repair works on Tata Trucks and any other vehicles as may be assigned.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Using manual and computerised diagnostic methods to identify potential problems on trucks.
2. Planning work and testing procedures using charts, experience and other organizational methods.
3. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steerling and suspension, engine and drive train system, electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other automotive repair equipment.
4. Perform scheduled maintenance service.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Grade 12 School Certificate
2. Ordinary National Technician Level Certificate/Diploma or its equivalent in Automotive/Heavy Duty Engineering or related discipline.
3. At least 4 years experience working on big trucks, preferably Tata Trucks.

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
