JOB DETAILS:
Automation Specialist – Reporting to the Technical Manager
Among Other Responsibilities, You Are Expected to;
• Maintaining a safe, healthy and risk-free working environment
• Maintaining and optimizing PLC and SCADA hardware and software systems
• Maintaining and calibrating field instrumentation and measuring devices
• Maintaining electrical systems, distribution and installations
• Applying appropriate root causes analysis tools for problem-solving and optimizing team performance
• Developing competence throughout the business on PLC and SCADA systems
• Entrenching continuous improvement culture and business values
• Maintaining and updating technical documentation

Qualifications & Experience
• Full grade 12 certificate
• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience in control system development, electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in industrial or FMCG production environment
• Advance PLC training and process networking knowledge will be an added advantage
• Must be able to carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance work
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages
• EIZ Member

Level of Education: Associate Degree
