Job Overview

Responsible for installing, operating, maintaining and repairing boiler systems and associated equipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial/commercial boiler systems
• Lead the team of Boiler operators on 24 hours basis
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety checks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
• Repair or replace defective components such as valves, pumps, burners, and controls
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and codes
• Maintain accurate logs, maintenance records, and inspection reports
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and system failures
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and inspectors as required
• Optimize boiler performance to improve energy efficiency and reduce downtime

Minimum Requirements - Education, Experience and Skills

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Boiler Technology, or a related field
• Valid Boiler Engineer/Boiler Operator License (as required by local regulations)
• 8+ years of experience operating and maintaining boiler systems
• Strong understanding of steam, hot water, and pressure systems
• Knowledge of safety standards, codes (ASME, OSHA, etc.), and best practices
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
