Its Head Office is located in the Lusaka’s Light Industrial Area along Nampundwe Road, Off Mumbwa Road. In its quest to maintain quality service delivery, the company seeks to recruit qualified highly motivated and goal-oriented professionals to fill the following positions.
Job Overview
Responsible for installing, operating, maintaining and repairing boiler systems and associated equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial/commercial boiler systems
- Lead the team of Boiler operators on 24 hours basis
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety checks
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Repair or replace defective components such as valves, pumps, burners, and controls
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and codes
- Maintain accurate logs, maintenance records, and inspection reports
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and system failures
- Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and inspectors as required
- Optimize boiler performance to improve energy efficiency and reduce downtime
Minimum Requirements - Education, Experience and Skills
- Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Boiler Technology, or a related field
- Valid Boiler Engineer/Boiler Operator License (as required by local regulations)
- 8+ years of experience operating and maintaining boiler systems
- Strong understanding of steam, hot water, and pressure systems
- Knowledge of safety standards, codes (ASME, OSHA, etc.), and best practices
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
