JOB DETAILS:

Position Type: Contract

Are you a skilled Boilermaker with experience in heavy-duty fabrication and maintenance? A reputable drilling company is seeking a qualified and motivated Boilermaker to join our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels.
Perform welding and metal cutting using various techniques (MIG, TIG, arc welding).
Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on drilling rigs and equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:
Craft Certificate or Diploma in Boiler making or related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a mining or drilling environment.
Strong welding and fabrication skills.
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in heavy industrial settings.
Able to work independently and in remote locations.
Desirable Attributes:
Strong problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and able to work in challenging environments.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Level of Education: associate degree
