JOB DETAILS:
Overall Purpose: To operate a electro-hydraulic drilling jumbo to safely drill blast patterns in underground development and production headings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a jumbo to drill holes to specified patterns, depths, and angles.
- Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on the equipment.
- Work closely with the Shift Boss and Shotfirer to ensure drilling accuracy.
Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Boomer/Jumbo Operator.
- Knowledge of drilling patterns and rock mechanics.
- Strong spatial awareness and equipment operation skills.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: associate degree
