Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments for Hyperlabs Zambia’s technology solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and client segmentation to inform business strategy.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate, institutional, and government clients.
  • Identify and respond to government and private sector tenders, especially through the Electronic Government Procurement (EGP) platform.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and technical teams to develop tailored client proposals and bids.
  • Prepare and present proposals, capability statements, and commercial offers to prospective clients.
  • Track and report business performance metrics (pipeline, win rates, client retention, revenue growth).
  • Represent Hyperlabs Zambia at industry forums, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Support leadership in identifying strategic alliances, vendor partnerships, and investment opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma /Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or Information Technology.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in business development, partnerships, or sales — ideally within the technology, ICT, or consulting sectors.
  • Proven experience working with the Electronic Government Procurement (EGP) system and government bidding processes.
  • Demonstrated success in developing proposals, closing deals, and managing client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, ICT infrastructure, and SaaS solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects.
