1. Butchery Manager (8)

Reports to: Manager Cold Chain Operations

Purpose of Role

To ensure smooth, efficient and full compliance of the outlet in accordance with Richmond
Farms Limited standards and requirements. The role is responsible for supervising, training
and motivating the butchery team in order to deliver excellent customer service, while
maintaining high standards of meat cutting, hygiene and food safety in order to achieve
operational and sales targets.

Qualifications

1. Certificate in agriculture / business management / accounts or related qualification.
2. Grade 12 certificate (with passes in 5 subjects).
3. A Registered Member with any relevant professional body.
4. 3-5 years of post-working experience in a similar role.
5. A valid driving licence.

Technical and Behavioural Skills

• Must have computer skills and knowledge of software applications.
• Able to work with Butchery machinery e.g. scales / tills.
• In-depth Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work in pressured and deadline-driven operating environment.
• Skills to prioritise, manage and plan skills.
• Reliable and a team player.
