To further our growth efforts, we are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is a member of the core Management Board with responsibility over FINCA's retail & wholesale banking activities and related operations. S/he will ensure that FINCA offers competitive products that support outreach in a sustainable and profitable manner. S/he will strive to ensure that the company presents characteristics consistent with an ethos that will win community trust, responds to client needs and raise client awareness regarding the opportunities that FINCA's products and services can provide .

Essential Duties
• Direct and manage FINCA's retail and wholesale banking strategy.
• Drive profitable growth of existing and new products.
• Direct human resources and people management across physical and digital channels by providing leadership, management and strategic focus for FINCA employees engaged in banking operations.
• Support sales, marketing and branding for retail and wholesale banking operations to position FINCA to be a market leader on product and service offerings, ensuring that FINCA's strategies and market positioning are proactive and informed by in-depth understanding of competition and market dynamics.

Job Skills:
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic/operational plans for financial institutions, Strong business management and negotiation skills,
• Experience managing and motivating large teams, excellent interpersonal, communication and training skills, Banking experience - 4 years minimum, 8 years preferred (commercial - retail), Credit experience - 2 years minimum, 4 years preferred Risk Management experience, Branch Management exposure preferred, Proven people management skills (with minimum of 5 direct reports),
• Experience working in Micro Finance will be an added advantage, Strategic planning exposure a must, Cash flow projections,
• Excellent technical report writing skills and computer literacy Fluency in English and any other Zambian languages is a plus.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
• A relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related discipline; an MBA will be an added advantage..
