JOB DETAILS:
Kabundi Resources Limited (KRL) is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization and implement strategic objectives. This exciting role involves overseeing operations, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring sustainable growth for the company.
The successful candidate will relocate and reside in Serenje, Zambia.

Job Purpose
The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and execute KRL's strategy, ensuring operational and financial excellence while managing stakeholder relationships. The role requires a blend of expertise in mining, people management, and commercial operations.

Principal Accountabilities
1. Strategy Implementation:
• Develop and implement organizational strategies in collaboration with the Board.
• Communicate and oversee the Company’s vision, mission, and strategic direction.
• Formulate and execute policies to enhance financial and operational efficiency.
• Lead the cultural transformation of the organization.
2. Operations:
• Coordinate Company functions to achieve cost-effective strategic objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate Company performance against targets.
• Oversee implementation of Board resolutions and SHEQ policies.
• Monitor production, revenue, and cost performance.
3. Finance:
• Ensure the prudent and sustainable utilization of financial and other resources.
• Monitor income generation to ensure profitability and business continuity.
4. Risk, Audit & Compliance:
• Establish systems to identify and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
• Manage relationships with auditors and promote corporate governance.
5. People Management:
• Lead the implementation of human capital strategies aligned with industry best practices.
• Oversee performance management systems and employee engagement.
6. Shareholder Management:
• Lead effective stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance shareholder value.

Job Requirements
• Education:
o Five (5) ‘O’ Levels with credit or better, including Mathematics and English.
o Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Geology, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
o Postgraduate qualifications in business-related courses are an added advantage.
o Relevant professional certifications.
o Registration with a relevant professional body.
• Professional Experience:
o Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in mining or related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage at the highest levels.
