Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Marsh will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial accounting, compliance reporting, and risk management. We are seeking a talented individual to join the Finance department at Marsh. This role will be based in Lusaka, hybrid and has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines; holders of CPA, ACCA or equivalent financial qualifications are preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience, including at least 5 years’ people management experience at national level. Demonstrated strong career progression; multinational experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ full-cycle financial accounting experience, including at least 3 years as a finance lead within an insurance brokerage or insurance carrier.
• Proficient in Tax, intermediary commission accounting, agent commission splitting and full-cycle reconciliation with insurance carriers.
• No prior records of financial misconduct or adverse tax history; eligible to pass senior officer due diligence for Zambia fit and proper person evaluation.
• Strong internal control mindset and cross-department communication skills, capable of reconciling business growth with regulatory compliance.
