Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.
- Conduct site investigations and assess project feasibility.
- Prepare engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Perform quality control and site inspections.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
Requirements:
- Must be a registered member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- years of experience in civil engineering, construction, or related fields.
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
