The Role
MSZ is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Clinical Quality Advisor to support and strengthen clinical quality, compliance, and service excellence across our programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring adherence to clinical standards, improving service delivery, and supporting clinical teams to achieve optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with MSI clinical protocols, policies, and quality standards
- Conduct regular supervision, mentorship, and quality assurance audits
- Support performance management and development of clinical staff
- Lead and coordinate clinical quality improvement activities
- Promote high standards of client care and service delivery
- Support training of Ministry of Health and partner staff in family planning and reproductive health services
- Monitor client satisfaction and contribute to service improvement initiatives
- Drive innovation and efficiency within clinical teams
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Experience
- Registered Medical Licentiate Practitioner or BSc Nurse (Required)
- Additional qualifications in Public Health or related field (Advantage)
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant clinical experience, preferably in reproductive health or family planning
- Demonstrated experience in clinical quality assurance, supervision, and mentorship
- Experience working with health programmes, NGOs, or public health systems (preferred)
- Proven experience in training and capacity building of healthcare providers
- Experience in managing clinical audits, client safety, and quality improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with Zambian health regulations and standards is an added advantage
