What you’ll do
Sales Administration: Prepare and process sales orders, quotations, invoices, and order amendments accurately and timely to support the sales function. Daily tasks include maintaining Salesforce opportunities and SAP records, managing order flow to meet customer delivery timelines, and handling customer queries and complaints. Success means seamless order execution and high customer satisfaction. Travel requirements are minimal, primarily local if needed.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure strict adherence to Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes, pricing policies, and internal SOPs. Maintain accurate documentation for audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
Coordination & Support: Liaise with internal departments such as sales, logistics, finance, and supply chain to ensure smooth order execution. Collaborate with finance on customer credit management and support adoption of new processes and system-driven global standardization.
Reporting and Data Management: Assist with sales On-Time Delivery (OTD) tracking, output forecasting, and provide management with insights on trends and opportunities. Support internal audits and maintain quality of Customer Master Data.

What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
- Matric (Grade 12) required; Sales & Marketing or Administration qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3–6 years’ experience in a similar role within engineering, manufacturing, or mining.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP essential).
- Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves:
- Commercial awareness and understanding of international trading terms (Incoterms).
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Knowledge of customer credit management and procurement processes.
