Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for interacting with existing and new customers, negotiating outstanding payments, ensure that customer accounts are monitored to a high standard on a continuous basis and manage all customer account queries. The person will need to be target driven, motivated, and demonstrate negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops overall corporate policies regarding collections of overdue/delinquent accounts.
• Ensures all collections policies are followed.
• Contact customers by phone to negotiate and discuss payment strategies
• Ensure compliance and customer focused collections
• Ensuring that accurate records are recorded and maintained in the relevant systems
• Identifying and understanding customer’s history and current circumstances and evaluating appropriate payment proposals.
• Maximizing collection and collating high quality dispute information.
• Ability to work a large volume of accounts
• Achieve and surpass weekly and monthly collection targets
• Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as designated by Team Leader

Educational Qualifications:

• Essential graduate.
• Preferable Graduate in Finance.

Relevant years of Experience:

• Between 2-5 yrs of experience (overall)
