Background

CHINA COPPER MINES LIMITED (CCM) was established in 2010 as a large-scale mining group established by private owning groups in the Republic of Zambia, known as the “country of copper mines”. The company’s business scope covers resource exploration, mining, hydrometallurgy, sulfuric acid chemical industry, trading and mining investment. Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations and ensure workers follow building plans.
• Enforce OSHA standards, hold safety meetings, and eliminate site hazards.
• Track daily progress, manage timelines, and coordinate material deliveries.
• Assign daily tasks to crew members and resolve on-site worker conflicts.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets building codes and quality standards.
• Coordinate schedules with specialized trades like electricians and plumbers.
• Write daily logs, track project hours, and report updates to the project manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on construction field experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as a foreman or assistant supervisor.
• High school diploma required; a Diploma in Construction Management is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings, and technical schematics.
• Capability to lift heavy objects, stand for long hours, and work in bad weather.
• Grade 12 certificate.
