Lubasi Home Trust is currently looking for a qualified person for a position of COUNSELLOR

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/Certificate in Psycho-social Counselling
• Good command of English both written and spoken
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• More than 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Must be able to use computer software skills specifically in Microsoft Excel and Word

DUTIES

The counsellor shall act in consultation with the facility Coordinator.

The Counsellor is expected to:

• Devote herself/himself to the welfare of the children.
• Ensure that Lubasi Home/Lushomo Trust-Dani’s Home is operating in the best interest of the children.
• Organise and conduct counselling sessions for the children.
• Do counselling for the guardians when need arise.
• Keep records of all counselling sessions.
• Prepare monthly reports to the Founder/Coordinator
• Work in consultation with the Founder/Coordinator with regard to day-to-day work.
• Provide motherly care
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Founder/Coordinatora
