Background

The Council of Law Reporting is a statutory body established under the Council of Law Reporting Act, Chapter 46 of the Laws of Zambia, mandated to prepare, publish and disseminate law reports and other legal publications, thereby promoting access to legal information and supporting the development of jurisprudence in Zambia. In pursuit of its strategic objectives and commitment to institutional excellence, the Council of Law Reporting invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and innovative candidates for the following positions:Recruitment agency directory

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to report to the Editor-in-Chief and will be responsible for the following:

• Undertake effectively the identification, editing, and production of Law Reports in order to facilitate future reference;
• Undertake periodically the publication of Law Reports in order to facilitate access; and
• Undertake effectively the maintenance of records in order to facilitate storage and retrieval.

Qualifications

• Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate
• Bachelor of Laws degree
