• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs and evaluate patient progress continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Operate and oversee the functioning of ICU equipment and devices.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.
• Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Capability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments and rotating shifts.

• Completion of Grade 12 certificate.
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia.
• Post-basic qualification in Critical Care Nursing or ICU Nursing.
• Strong knowledge of emergency procedures and critical care protocols.
