JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The Dedicated Local Driver will be responsible for transporting goods, materials, or personnel safely and efficiently between designated locations on a consistent, daily basis. This role ensures that vehicles are properly maintained and safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
Transport Duties:
• Safely transport materials, equipment and personnel to and from the site or between locations.
• Ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups according to the schedule.
Vehicle Maintenance:
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or required repairs to the supervisor.
Safety Compliance:
• Follow all road safety rules and traffic regulations.
• Ensure the vehicle is equipped with the necessary safety gear (e.g., first aid kit, fire extinguisher).
Load and Unload:
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring that they are secured properly.
• Ensure that goods are transported in compliance with safety guidelines.

Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate logs of travel routes, delivery times, and fuel consumption.
• Report on any incidents or accidents immediately.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license (with the appropriate vehicle class for the role).
• Previous driving experience, especially in a local or industrial setting, is preferred.
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of loading and unloading goods.
• Familiarity with safety protocols for vehicle operation and transportation.
