Background
Northern Zambia Union Conference (NZUC) serves the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in northern Zambia. Its health ministry seeks to reflect Christ's healing work through compassionate, whole-person care, health education and service to communities. Kitwe Polytech Hospital (KTPH) is the Union's healthcare department serving the community through clinical, nursing, diagnostic, pharmaceutical and oral health services.
NZUC invites qualified professionals to apply for the six positions below. The responsibilities and requirements are set out in full on the following pages.
Responsibilities
The Dental Surgeon will provide oral health services and appropriate management to patients while maintaining accurate clinical records and following patient and staff safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Full Grade 12 or Form V School Certificate.
Dental Surgery qualification (BDS or equivalent) plus a postgraduate qualification, as specified in the supplied job description.
No minimum pre-job experience is specified.
Ability to write technical papers and communicate in English.
Integrity, initiative and empathy.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: postgraduate degree
