JOB DETAILS:
Zambia Airports Corporation Limited is a reputable aviation organization with a mission to provide World Class Airport and Air Navigation Services at the four major airports namely, Kenneth Kaunda in Lusaka, Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe in Ndola, Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula in Livingstone, and Mfuwe International Airports and Ten (10) Provincial and Strategic Airports.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Zambian nationals with a vision to excel in the following position:

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
Direct and monitor the execution of Planning and Strategy Evaluation unit operations, in alignment with the relevant legislation, policies, processes, standards and practices to ensure attainment of the ZACL vision.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA's)
• Define the functional vision and lead the development of the institutional functional strategy. Direct the execution and review of the Planning and Strategy Evaluation, unit's strategy, operational framework and their contribution in line with the ZACL overall strategy Assess the performance of the Planning and Strategy Evaluation of the Corporation and the effectiveness of the operational plans and KPIs and accountable for Planning and Strategy Evaluation Corporation's performance and evidence-based decision-making processes. Ensure ongoing monitoring and appropriate management of risks that might affect the operations of the Planning and Strategy Evaluation unit, Direct and manage the development and execution of project plans and scheduling that support the ZACL's vision and short-and long-term plans Drive and facilitate alignment of the initiatives and project plans with the Planning and Strategy Evaluation unit and overall ZACL projects portfolio and service delivery planning and monitor the implementation of high-level project performance measures and appropriate tools and techniques for project delivery and produce reports of all projects
• Direct and monitor the provision of guidance, expertise and advice to Planning and Strategy Evaluation unit managers on trends, best practice and applicable policies and legislation
• Champion change and manage the evaluation of the Planning and Strategy Evaluation unit's operations to enhance the quality, efficiency and output as well as direct and monitor the execution of continuous improvement plans to ensure optimization of operations, and processes, innovation and business continuity
• Monitor the delivery of the projects' outcomes in line with the Planning and Strategy Evaluation unit's strategic objectives and overall ZACL business strategy.
• Manage reporting on performance against Planning and Strategy Evaluation unit's strategic plan and accountability to the Managing Director
• Direct and monitor reporting on legislative and statutory compliance as defined government and relevant professional bodies
• Establish, manage and maintain the strategic relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders
• Drive a high-performance culture by taking accountability for an effective and well-articulated performance management process
• Foster organisational culture and climate that is customer-oriented and value driven aligned to ZACL's shared values.

QUALIFICATION
• Grade Twelve (12) Certificate or equivalent with Five (5) O' Level credit passes or better including English and Mathematics.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration
• MBA/ MSc in Business Studies (relevant field) an added advantage

EXPERIENCE
• At least 8 years of work experience of which 5 years should be in a managerial capacity.
• Experience in the aviation industry will be an added advantage
