JOB DETAILS:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Drive/operate any Company vehicle in order to transport employees, material and authorised personnel from place to place.
- Drive any of the following vehicles observing traffic rules and road safety signs, tipper, flat truck, hearse, low loader, bulldozer, mobile crane, managerial cars, buses, vans, etc. This is in compliance with the Company’s multi-skilling performance requirements.
- Report vehicle defects and accidents to immediate supervisor for further action.
- Identify and ensure that defective vehicles are taken to the garage for repair.
- Ensure that all driving activities are carried out in the most effective and efficient manner so that the same are performed right the first time.
- Undertake and complete given assignments within allocated time frame to avoid unnecessary overtime.
- Ensure that all Company vehicles and other tools are used solely for
- Company purposes to avoid misuse of same
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
- Minimum of Class CE Driving License. PSV, PG and D will be an added advantage
- 5 years minimum working experience
- CRANE DRIVERS Must have Crane Operator Competence Certificate from any recognized institution
- Earth moving Competence Certificate will be an added advantage
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- TO START WORK IMMEDIATELY

Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree
