JOB DETAILS:
Dump Truck Driver
Job Summary:
Safely operate heavy dump trucks to transport ore, waste rock, and other materials between designated areas of the mine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-start inspections before operating the truck.
- Transport materials safely and efficiently according to assigned routes.
- Follow mine traffic management and speed-control requirements.
- Safely load, haul, and dump materials as instructed.
- Monitor vehicle condition and report defects immediately.
- Maintain good housekeeping and comply with mine safety procedures.
Requirements:
Valid heavy vehicle driving/operator licence and relevant experience operating dump trucks in a mining or heavy-industrial environment.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: high school
