Medland Hospital is inviting suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Electrician.

Responsibilities or duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and monitoring electrical systems and related equipment, including:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, switches, sockets, lighting, and other electrical equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve issues safely and promptly.
• Replace faulty electrical components, bulbs, switches, sockets, breakers, and other approved items.
• Check water pumps, pressure systems, tanks, valves, and related equipment regularly.
• Monitor fuel levels, oil levels, coolant, battery condition, and general generator performance.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Advanced Certificate in Electrical Engineering.

Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering from a reputable learning institution.

Experience needed

2–3 years work experience.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: professional certificate
