The National Technology Business Centre (NTBC) is a Statutory Body established by the Science and Technology Act No. 26 of 1997 and Statutory Instrument No. 136 of 1999, both of which are founded in the National Science and Technology Policy of 1996. NTBC is managed by a Board of Directors drawn from various sectors and industry. The Centre’s main objective is to ensure the promotion, marketing, and transfer of proven and sustainable technologies to entrepreneurs in order to maximize their utilization and contribute to sustainable national industrial development.

The NTBC seeks to recruit suitable qualified and experienced Zambian Citizens to fill up the following Positions:

Responsibilities or duties

• Undertakes effectively the provision of business advisory services to the businesses based on technological innovations to facilitate technology transfer and commercialisation.
• Undertakes effectively the development, implementation and review of business incubation programmes to facilitate the scaling up of sustainable enterprises.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Full form V/Grade 12 School Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent

Experience needed

• Minimum relevant pre-job experience of 3 years.
