JOB DETAILS:

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Natural Resources Management, Ecology, Forestry, Climate Change, Geography, or related discipline

Master's Degree will be an added advantage

ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification

ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor Certification

Mandatory Professional Certifications

• Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV)
• Carbon Accounting and GHG Quantification
• Climate Change or Sustainability-related Certification

Experience & Competencies

• Minimum 5 years' experience in environmental management and sustainability consulting
• Experience conducting Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs)
• Experience developing and implementing Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
• Experience in ESG reporting and sustainability frameworks
• Experience in climate risk assessments and adaptation planning
• Experience in carbon accounting, GHG inventories, emissions quantification, and climate reporting
• Familiarity with IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 Sustainability Disclosure Standards
• Knowledge of biodiversity conservation, environmental compliance, and regulatory permitting
• Strong technical report writing and project management skills
