Primary Function:

Precision digging, trenching, lifting, and material handling using a hydraulic articulated arm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trenching & Footings: Dig trenches for utilities (water, sewer, electrical) and building foundations to exact depths and widths.
• Demolition: Wreck structures using hydraulic breakers, shears, or pulverizers; sort and load debris for disposal.
• Lifting & Rigging: Attach rigging (chains, slings) to lift heavy pipes, concrete vaults, or steel beams; operate within the machine's load chart capacity.
• Bucket Selection: Choose and swap attachments (grading buckets, ditching buckets, augers, thumbs) based on task requirements.
• Swing Management: Maintain awareness of the counterweight swing radius to protect ground personnel and adjacent structures.
• Underground Utility Protection: Use potholing/vacuum techniques or hand-digging oversight to avoid striking buried gas/electric lines.

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

• Basic literacy skills (ability to read and write).
• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience operating any of the specified machinery.
• Multi-skilled operators with experience on multiple equipment types will be given preference.
• At least two years of practical experience in agricultural-related heavy equipment operations.
• Traceable professional references to verify work history and competence.
