JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
The Excavator Operator is responsible for operating heavy machinery to perform excavation, trenching, grading, and earthmoving tasks safely and efficiently on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators for digging, trenching, and material handling
- Perform site preparation and earthworks according to project plans
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Work closely with site supervisors and ground crew
- Ensure accurate and precise excavation work
- Report faults, damages, or safety hazards immediately
Requirements
- Proven experience operating excavators
- Valid operator license/certification
- Good understanding of construction site safety
- Ability to read and interpret site plans (advantage)
- Physically fit and able to work long hours
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: high school
