1. ROLE IDENTIFICATION
Job Title: EXECUTIVE DRIVER
Direct Reports:
2. JOB PURPOSE
To provide safe, timely, and reliable transportation services to company executives, ensuring confidentiality, professionalism, and a high standard of customer service at all times.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely transport executives to meetings, appointments, airport transfers, and official engagements.
- Ensure punctuality for all pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Assist executives with loading and unloading luggage and documents.
- Conduct daily checks on vehicle condition (fuel, oil, tyres, lights, battery, etc.).
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and serviced regularly.
- Report any faults, damage, or maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate mileage and fuel consumption records.
- Adhere to Zambia’s Road Traffic & Safety Regulations (RTSA).
- Maintain valid driving license (Class B or higher recommended).
- Follow all security protocols, especially when transporting executives.
- Practice defensive driving and safe road behavior at all times.
- Keep detailed logs of trips, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules.
- Run errands and deliver documents as assigned.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive movements and company information.
4. NATURE OF DECISION MAKING

5. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum
- Grade 9 OR 12 Certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels with credit or better in Mathematics and English
- Valid Zambian driving license (Class B or above).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a professional or executive driver.
6. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a driver, preferably in a security or emergency services environment.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS
- Excellent knowledge of Lusaka/Zambian road networks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and well-organized.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to handle pressure and work flexible hours (weekends, evenings when required).
- Basic vehicle mechanical knowledge.
