JOB DETAILS:
AgriLearn Initiative is seeking a highly experienced Agronomist to manage a 5-hectare seed production project for beans, garlic, and Irish potatoes in Luwingu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance on crop management, soil fertility, irrigation, and pest/disease control
Supervise farm staff and provide training on best agronomic practices
Ensure high-quality seed production and adherence to project timelines
Advise on crop rotation and soil health management strategies
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 35 years and above
Mature, responsible, and professional
Hands-on experience in growing beans, garlic, and Irish potatoes
Prior experience in seed production is an advantage
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
