Job Summary:

The Internal Medicine Faculty member will be responsible for delivering comprehensive teaching, mentorship, and clinical instruction to medical students. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures and facilitate discussions in internal medicine topics
• Supervise clinical rotations in hospitals or partner facilities
• Mentor students in clinical reasoning and patient management
• Evaluate student performance through exams and practical assessments
• Participate in curriculum development and academic research

Requirements:

• MBChB and Master’s Degree in Internal Medicine
• At least 3 years of lecturing/clinical teaching experience
• Registered and in good standing with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ)
• ZAQA qualification verification is mandatory

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
