• Develop and implement crop production plans
• Monitor crop health, soil conditions and irrigation systems
• Recommend appropriate fertilizers, pesticides and soil treatments
• Conduct soil sampling and interpret results
• Recommend fertilizers, herbicides and pest control measures
• Identify and manage crop pests, diseases and weeds
• Maintain accurate farm records and production reports
• Improve yield and sustainability
• Co-ordinating, managing and planning all operational equipment needed for the same.
• Expansion and development of new projects.
• Manage and supervise farm workers and contractors.

• Ability to analyse data and make practical recommendations
• Ability to work unsupervised, alone and collaboratively as a team

• Agronomy qualification or similar agricultural qualification by a reputable and recognised agricultural institution, knowledge and experience is preferable
• Valid driver’s license
