Role Overview:

Spectrum Credit is seeking Field Sales Agents for our Civil Servant Product to drive client acquisition and portfolio growth. The role involves identifying and assessing potential clients while balancing business expansion and delivering excellent customer service. Successful candidates will be results‑oriented professionals committed to building a strong, low‑risk financing portfolio.

Location/ Branch:

Mongu, Petauke, Chipata

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively scout and onboard new high-potential loan clients per month and expand the current portfolio.
  • Manage new client onboarding through the official digital client onboarding channel.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, attending to their financial needs timely.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships, through excellent service and support.
  • Uphold integrity, reliability, and respect in all interactions, maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Portfolio at Risk (PAR), and targets.
  • Actively engage existing, high-quality clients to achieve refinancing, ensuring long-term portfolio stability.
  • Manage and follow up on USSD-based inquiries, successfully converting leads into active loan applicants.
  • Secure and process new clients each month to meet aggressive organizational monthly disbursement targets.
  • Ensure all lending activities comply with lending policies & regulations, local financial laws, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, and "Know Your Customer" (KYC) standards.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Petauke, Chipata or Mongu resident
  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Fresh graduates or school leavers without prior experience are welcome to apply, provided they are trainable and eager to learn.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in lending, microfinance, banking, or other relevant industries is preferred
  • Ability to engage clients directly, adapt to dynamic environments, and meet evolving business requirements.
  • Customer service excellence
  • Ability to assess borrower risk and portfolio quality.
  • Understanding of industry regulations and adherence to company policies.

Compensation (Pay):

Commission‑based, directly tied to business brought in.
