JOB DETAILS:

Purpose

Manage full-cycle financial accounting, cost control, and logistics-specific financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) monthly.
• Perform trip profitability analysis (revenue vs. direct costs: fuel, driver, maintenance, tolls).
• Manage accounts payable/receivable – specifically fuel suppliers, drivers, subcontractors.
• Ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, VAT, NHIF, NSSF, withholding tax).
• Coordinate with reconciliation officers to close monthly fleet cost variances.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance; CPA/ACCA final level.
• 4+ years accounting experience, preferably in transport/logistics.
• ERP (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo, Tally) and advanced Excel.

Competencies:

• Transport costing, financial discipline, audit readiness.
