Ilondola Farms is seeking a proactive, organised and detail-oriented FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION SUPERVISOR to support financial reporting, administration, inventory control, statutory compliance, fleet coordination and general business operations. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with initiative, able to work with minimal supervision, maintain accurate records and produce timely reports to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities or duties,
- Prepare monthly income and expenditure reports, cash flow summaries, budget tracking reports and other business financial reports
- Manage reconciliations, petty cash, invoices, payments, supplier records and customer accounts
- Support payroll processing and ensure accurate PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA, Workers’ Compensation and staff record compliance
- Maintain organised financial, HR, administrative and farm documentation and records
- Manage inventory records, including farm inputs, feed, stock, supplies, equipment, purchases, variances and re-order levels
- Coordinate procurement and basic logistics
- Support fleet administration, including vehicle records, fuel tracking, service schedules, repairs, insurance, road tax and usage logs
- Support office administration, filing, travel planning, meeting coordination, appointments, document preparation and general correspondence
- Track licences, insurance, contracts, service providers and renewal deadlines
- Support audit preparation, internal controls and compliance documentation
- Assist with sales tracking, customer records, product availability updates and basic marketing or promotional support when required
- Identify gaps, improve systems and take initiative in strengthening business operations
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills),
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related field
- Strong knowledge of a financial package and Microsoft Office
- Ability to prepare and interpret financial and business reports
- High integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and solve problems proactively
Experience needed,
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in finance, accounts, administration or operations coordination. Experience in inventory, fleet, HR administration, agriculture or operations is an added advantage
